DESCRIPTION:At this free family-oriented event\, visitors can see Rose Hill Mansion and grounds at their own pace. Guides stationed throughout the building will share the story of the Swan family\, especially the Swan children and their lives at the mansion and farm. In addition\, there will be a family scavenger hunt in the house and crafts and old-fashioned games on the grounds. The Hill Brothers will perform a concert\, "Across New York State"\, on the porch at 1 p.m. Their program focuses on music and folklore from New York State's history\, especially the Erie Canal. Using humor\, great songs from the period and lots of audience participation The Hill Brothers will bring the audience on a fun-filled musical trip across the state. Finally\, Wayne County Historian Marjory Perez will speak about and sign her book\, "The Underground Railroad\, Final Stop Freedom" at 2:30 p.m. \n\n Rose Hill Mansion is located at 3373 Route 96A\, about a mile south of Routes 5 & 20\, near Geneva New York.\n\n\n\n Rose Hill is administered by the Geneva Historical Society at 543 South Main Street\, Geneva\, New York.
