DESCRIPTION:This dinner support the Child Advocacy Center of the Finger. Cocktail hour and silent auction starts at 5:30 pm\, dinner at 6:45 pm.\n\n\n\nThe Child Advocacy Center of the Finger Lakes (CACFL) is a center designed to coordinate a multi-disciplinary approach to child abuse investigations. A team including Law Enforcement\, Child Protective Services\, District Attorney's Office\, Mental Health Professionals\, Medical Professionals\, and Advocates work together to provide the best possible outcome for children who have been reported as victims of child abuse in Ontario County. The CACFL is accredited by both NYS Office of Children and Family Services and the National Children's Alliance\, the national accrediting agency that sets rigorous standards that ensure high quality services for children and families with regards to child abuse investigations and services. Our center is a private\, dedicated\, child-friendly facility that is available 24 hours per day/ seven days per week\; our mission is to minimize additional trauma experienced by children who have been sexually or physically abused. Since opening our doors in 2008\, we have provided services to more than 1600 children and families in Ontario County. According to national estimates\, this model has saved the community approximately $1\,600\,000 over the last 9 years
